Ciarán Duffy

Ciarán Duffy is the Director at Global Innovation, where they focus on creating and supporting global research networks for academia and industry. They have over 12 years of experience in National and International Research and Innovation Funding programmes, including serving as a Member State Representative for various European initiatives. Ciarán has held positions such as Innovation Advisor at PlasmaBound and identifyHer, and previously held roles with Enterprise Ireland and the National Centre for Sensor Research. They earned a PhD in Bioanalytical Science from Dublin City University and have conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Minnesota and the National Research Council.
