Phil Heil

Phil Heil, P. Eng. is an experienced professional in the automotive industry, currently serving as the Director of Business Development for North America at Plasman since October 2012. Phil has held various roles at Plasman, including Product Line Manager, Business Development Manager, and Advanced Engineering Program Manager, focusing on pre-production engineering, design, feasibility, and research and development. Prior to Plasman, Phil worked at Flex-N-Gate as a Program Manager, overseeing fascia and bumper systems and designing injection molds and assembly equipment. Experience also includes a tenure at Ventra Plastics as Innovations Engineer/Program Manager, where research and development of new technologies for automotive applications was a key focus. Earlier in Phil's career, roles at Collins & Aikman involved managing programs for interior decorative trim and complex assemblies. Phil holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Windsor, supported by a mechanical co-op background.
