Shama Bole

Shama Bole has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Shama started their career as an HRMS Training Analyst at Gap Inc., where they focused on training and process improvement. Shama then transitioned to the role of HRIS Analyst, where they provided consulting and reporting solutions.

Later, they joined JPMorgan Chase and worked as a Project Manager/Sr. HRIS Analyst, leading cross-functional teams and managing HR reimplementation projects. Shama also served as an HR Track Lead, implementing PeopleSoft v8.8 and redesigning HR business processes.

Moving forward, Shama worked as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, and Agile Coach at a major healthcare provider, where they managed multiple projects and facilitated the transition to Agile methodologies. Shama also served as a Continuous Process Improvement Consultant at a coffee retailer, providing coaching and training on Agile and Scrum.

Shama has extensive experience as a Scrum Coach/Instructor, delivering training sessions and providing coaching support for Agile transformations. Shama has worked with various teams to improve product delivery, team practices, and overall morale.

Their most recent position was as an E-Commerce Scrum Master at Plaster Group, LLC, where they led the Scrum team in the E-Commerce Revenue product group and focused on enhancing product delivery and team practices.

Throughout their career, Shama has demonstrated strong project management skills, Agile expertise, and a focus on driving efficient and effective processes.

Shama Bole obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government/Economics from Ruia College from 1982 to 1985. Shama then pursued their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Political Science at the University of Mumbai from 1985 to 1987. Shama continued their education at the University of Illinois Chicago, where they obtained their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Political Science from 1988 to 1991. Shama further pursued a Ph.D. in Political Science - Public Policy Analysis at the same university from 1991 to 1995.

Additionally, Shama Bole has obtained several certifications. In 2012, they became a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) through ScrumAlliance. Shama obtained the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in 2013. In 2019, they earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI. Most recently, in 2023, they obtained an OKR Coach Certificate from Results Foundry at WorkBoard.
