Hanne Schmidt

Hanne Schmidt is a seasoned professional in creative leadership and board governance, currently serving as the Founder of Fornemt Selskab since March 2025. Hanne serves as a Board Member for both Plastic Change and AB Øster Søgade, contributing strategic insights to each organization. Previously, Hanne held various influential roles including Partner and Creative Director at Geelmuyden Kiese Danmark until December 2025, and Advisory Board Member for Halsnæs Kommune's Horisonten from January 2024 to May 2025. Hanne founded and led Freckl from February 2016 to May 2018, after serving as Creative Director at Wibroe, Duckert & Partners and Public Agency. Hanne's extensive experience also includes a decade-long commitment as a Board Member at PlanBørnefonden, during its transition to Plan. Hanne's educational background includes studies at Danmarks Designskole and the School of Visual Arts.
