Plastic Free July™ is a global public good movement that supports over 170 million individuals, organisations, and communities to reduce single-use plastic and accelerate long-term behaviour change.

The Plastic Free Foundation exists to steward this shared platform - protecting its integrity, evidence base, and long-term impact for current and future generations.

Plastic Free Foundation is the originator of Plastic Free July™ and remains its global custodian.
