Plastics Extrusion Machinery LLC (PEM) was founded in 1978 by former owner, Hal Wright, and grew to be one of the leading providers of quality downstream equipment in the PVC and customer profile plastics industries. The dedication and commitment to quality demonstrated by its employees is what makes PEM equipment the sought-after equipment over the past four decades.

​In December 2017, CEO Nathan Spearman – having more than 15 years in the plastics industry – purchased PEM LLC with a vision to take the company and its quality equipment to the next level in excellence through improving processes, resources, hiring highly-skilled employees, improving customer support, and innovating our products for greater efficiency and less downtime.

​Seeing the need to strengthen its product offering and expertise in the industry, Spearman earned an opportunity to acquire an exceptional company trusted in the industry and also founded in 1978, Advance Equipment Company LLC (AEC).   

AEC was founded by Richard E. Hoverter, and later handed down to his son, Richard (Dick) L. Hoverter, a talented engineer, who continues to offer his expertise and innovative spirit today. AEC is located in Tumwater, Washington and focuses on providing small diameter downstream equipment as a valued division of PEM LLC.

Plastics Extrusion Machinery LLC, commonly known as PEM, has many years of experience as an industry-leading provider of innovative downstream equipment to the PVC pipe and custom profile industries.
