Marni B. currently serves as a Humanities Subject Librarian at the University of Otago since October 2006, specializing in subjects including Performing Arts, Theatre, Music, Dance, Social Anthropology, and Archaeology, as well as Māori and Indigenous Studies. Marni has notable experience in various library roles, including a secondment as a Subject Librarian and positions focused on Māori resources. In addition to library services, Marni has a strong background in security, working as a casual security guard at the Dunedin Regent Theatre and as a senior guard at P4G Security, with extensive experience in event guarding across numerous venues and occasions. Marni has also served as a Voting Place Manager for the Elections Commission. Marni holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Victoria University of Wellington and a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from the University of Otago.
