Alan Johnson

Alan Johnson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product operations and engineering within the technology and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Product Operations at Platform Science, Alan has successfully led significant initiatives such as relocating warehouse and fulfillment activities, resulting in major cost savings while maintaining customer service. Previously, in roles at Trimble Inc., Alan drove lean methodologies and collaborated on demand planning, enhancing product introductions and inventory management. Alan's earlier experience at Beckman Coulter involved advancing manufacturing quality and productivity through lean principles, along with leading cross-functional teams on mechanical design projects. With foundational engineering expertise gained at MTS Systems and Hutchinson Technology Incorporated, Alan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
