Mark Smid

Mark Smid has extensive experience in the financial and tax sector. Mark started their career at EY as a Tax Staff in 2010 and eventually worked their way up to a Manager role. In 2017, they moved to Platform Ventures where they held the position of Senior Associate before being promoted to Vice President in January 2021.

Mark Smid completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance and Accounting from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business in 2010. Mark later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance, Entrepreneurship, and General studies from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School, graduating in 2017.
