Rich Phillips

Rich Phillips currently serves as the Director of Sales for North America at Platform9, a position held since March 2025, focusing on facilitating efficient migrations to private cloud infrastructures. Previously, Rich worked as an Area Sales Manager at GitLab from April 2022 to March 2025, promoting the DevOps platform that enhances software development operations. Rich also held the role of VP of Sales for Enterprise East at Catchpoint from March 2021 to April 2022, where responsibilities included monitoring and optimizing digital experience performance. Prior positions include Director of Sales at Splunk from February 2017 to March 2021 and Sales Director for East Enterprise at AirWatch by VMware from January 2015 to February 2017. Rich holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The College of New Jersey, obtained in January 1990.
