Srinivas Chavan

Srinivas Chavan is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in quality assurance and automation. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Platform9 Systems since October 2021, Srinivas has previously held the position of Senior Principal Software Engineer at Veritas Technologies LLC from January 2016 to October 2021. Prior to that, Srinivas worked as a Principal SQA Engineer at Symantec from April 2004 to December 2015, focusing on Perl-based automation for the NetBackup product and leading tests for e-discovery features. Earlier experience includes working as a QA Analyst at Cybage Software from February 2002 to April 2004, developing automation frameworks for a CAD-based product. Srinivas holds a Diploma in Computer Programming from Sunbeam (2001-2002) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from Savitribai Phule Pune University (1997-2001).
