Marco Piraccini

Marco Piraccini has extensive work experience in various software engineering and consulting roles. Marco is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Platformatic since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelance IT Consultant and Software Architect since January 2002. From October 2018 to September 2022, they served as an IoT Software Tech Lead at Converge. Marco also worked as a Software Architect and Fullstack Developer at NearForm from December 2014 to October 2018, and as a Software Architect at Capgemini from January 2014 to December 2014. Earlier in their career, Marco held roles such as Senior IT Consultant and Technical Lead at NoemaLife from January 2011 to January 2014, Senior Consultant at Imola Informatica from January 2009 to December 2010, Lead Architect at Imola Informatica from 2007 to 2009, and Senior Software Architect at Banca Popolare di Milano from 2005 to 2006. Marco's career began as a Software Engineer at Cedac SRL from July 2000 to January 2002. Throughout their career, Marco has gained experience in a diverse range of technologies and has worked on various projects involving software architecture, development, and consulting.

Marco Piraccini completed their Master's degree in Computational Physics from Università degli Studi di Udine between 2002 and 2004. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Software Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, graduating between 1995 and 2000.
