Matteo Collina

Matteo Collina has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Matteo is currently the Co-Founder and CTO of Platformatic, a position they have held since July 2022. Matteo is also a Board Member of the OpenJS Foundation since August 2022.

Prior to their current roles, Matteo worked at NearForm from 2014 to 2022. Matteo held several positions, including Chief Software Architect, Technical Director, Principal Architect, and Software Architect. In these roles, Matteo was responsible for architecting and planning solutions for clients, focusing on JavaScript and Cloud Native technologies. Matteo also contributed to the Node.js community.

From 2011 to 2013, Matteo Collina attended Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Information Technologies.

From 2006 to 2009, Matteo Collina also attended Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and earned a Laurea Specialistica degree in Ingegneria Informatica (Computer Engineering).
