Matthew Morse

Matthew Morse has a range of experience in the field of web development and design. Matthew currently holds the position of Vue.js Software Engineer at PlatformQ starting from February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at SIDEARM Sports from May 2018 to February 2022, where they transitioned to lead the developer side of the accessibility team. Matthew was responsible for solving accessibility issues by working with JavaScript/jQuery and Knockout. Additionally, they integrated responsive websites and mentored new front-end developers during their role as a Front-end Web Developer at SIDEARM Sports.

Before joining SIDEARM Sports, Matthew worked at ABC Creative Group as a Web Designer from July 2017 to May 2018. In this role, they collaborated with the creative director, content developer, and director of video production to create engaging experiences for clients. Matthew introduced UX processes such as wireframing, information architecture, prototyping, and interaction design to enhance the design and development process.

Matthew also had brief experiences at MindNET Technologies Ltd., RED Interactive Agency, and THR33FOLD. At MindNET Technologies Ltd., they served as the Lead Creative and Lead Developer from August 2016 to December 2016. At RED Interactive Agency, they worked as a Designer from June 2015 to March 2016. Lastly, they gained experience as a Creative Intern at THR33FOLD from April 2014 to August 2014.

Matthew Morse attended the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in New Media Design. Matthew also obtained a membership with the Interaction Design Foundation, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification is not provided.
