Kevin Smith has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Kevin began their career at Bank One (First Chicago) as a Vice President from 1999 to 2001. Kevin then worked at UMTB Group as a Vice President from 2001 to 2002. From 2002 to 2005, they served as a Vice President at Mellon Bank. Kevin then joined Wells Fargo Capital Finance as a Senior Vice President and Team Leader from 2005 to 2010. Currently, they are the Managing Director and Head of Debt Capital Markets at Platinum Equity, a position they have held since 2010.
Kevin Smith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Butler University, where they attended from 1995 to 1999. Following this, they pursued an MBA in Finance at the USC Marshall School of Business, from 2003 to 2006. Prior to attending college, Kevin completed their high school education at Homewood Flossmoor HS in 1995.
