Greg Nayman

Greg Nayman is an experienced electrical engineering professional with a strong background in hardware and firmware development. Currently serving as the Head of Electrical Engineering and Firmware at Backbone since May 2025, Nayman previously held leadership roles at HP IQ and Humane. With a significant tenure at Apple from April 2009 to January 2024, Nayman contributed as a Senior Engineering Manager across various teams focusing on accessories and iPhone hardware system integration. Earlier career experiences include positions at Netronome Systems Inc., ADCUS Inc., and Compunetix, Inc., demonstrating expertise in hardware architecture, design, and prototyping. Nayman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
