Nery Chucuy

Nery Chucuy has worked in a variety of roles in the IT industry since 2009. From 2009 to 2020, they worked as a Senior Full Stack Developer & ERP Consultant at Promisan b.v. Consultancy Agency. In 2012 and 2011, they worked as a Full Stack Developer & ERP Consultant at the United Nations HQ. From 2013 to 2017, they held the same position at the United Nations HQ. In 2018, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at an e-commerce startup, Chopinmol Inc., where they were responsible for overseeing and leading the IT department. From 2020 to the present, they have been working as a Senior Backend Engineer at Truelogic Software, focusing on back-end services (Node.js, NestJS) and infrastructure (AWS). Currently, they are a Senior Backend Engineer at Playbook.

Nery Chucuy obtained a Magister Artium in Social Sciences from Universidad Francisco Marroquín in 2013, and a Software Engineer degree from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala in 2011. In 2021, Nery Chucuy obtained two certifications from The Linux Foundation, LFW212: Node.js Services Development and Node.js Services Developer.
