Allan Dye has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of game design and animation. Allan began their career in 2001 as a Senior Interactive Designer at ASK Learning, where they worked for five years. In 2006, they became a freelancer, specializing in Flash animation and illustration. Allan then joined Say Design in 2008 as a Flash Animator and Artist for a brief period before co-creating Pocket God in 2009. This project involved their role as a Co-creator, Animator, and Illustrator and focused on designing art, animation, and sound effects for the iPhone and iPad versions. In 2015, they joined Playco (formerly Game Closure) as a Lead Game Artist, where they created assets and animations for various game projects, took the lead on prototypes for new games, and provided guidance to other artists and studios. Allan briefly worked at Game Closure later in 2015, where they contributed to the creation of mobile games in different styles, designing 2D art assets and creating character and effects animations.
Allan Dye holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Film with Animation emphasis from San Francisco State University.
