Justin Waldron

Justin Waldron is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor, currently serving as founder and CEO of gemz since 2022, creator of interactive games aimed at social enjoyment. In addition, Waldron co-founded Playco in 2020, holding the position of president, with a focus on promoting social engagement through play. Waldron is also an advisor at Shibuya Startup Support and has been actively involved with Zynga since 2007, contributing as a founder and product manager, noted for its NASDAQ IPO in 2011. Recently, Waldron became a partner at X&, which invests in promising Japanese startups, while also serving as a seed investor in Substack. Additional advisory roles include support for Immutable, Decentraland, and Dapper Labs, alongside being a limited partner at Polychain Capital since 2017.
