Simon Vickers is an accomplished gameplay designer with extensive experience in the gaming industry. Currently serving as Gameplay Design Lead at Playdead since November 2021, Simon has previously held significant positions including Game Director and Design Lead at Avalanche Studios Group from December 2018 to November 2021, and Lead Level Designer at Cloud Imperium Games from July 2014 to December 2018. With a background as Games Designer at Crytek UK, Level Designer at Eurocom, and Level Designer at Frontier Developments, Simon has contributed to notable projects like Homefront: The Revolution, 007 Legends, and Kinect Disneyland Adventures. Simon began the career as Graduate Designer at Free Radical Design, participating in the development of Star Wars: Battlefront 3. Simon holds a degree in Games Design from the University of Lincoln, completed in 2007.
