Jon Hook has extensive work experience in the gaming industry. In 2021, they co-founded PlayEmber, a web3 casual game publishing and distribution platform. Jon is responsible for building 1st party games, funding 2nd party games, and onboarding 3rd party games into the ecosystem. PlayEmber has a portfolio of mobile games with millions of downloads and raised a pre-seed round to venture into web3.

In 2017, Jon founded Mallory Ventures, an investment and advisory firm focused on the gaming ecosystem. Jon invests in and advises startups in the ad tech and gaming industries.

Jon is also a founder of Stealth Mode, a company they started in 2022. Additionally, they are an investor in FunCraft, a mobile gaming company.

Jon is an investor and advisor for AudioMob, a company that offers non-intrusive audio ads for mobile games. Jon also serves as an investor for Talewind, a UK studio working in Roblox, and DieNo Games Oy. Furthermore, Jon is an advisor for Volt Games, a company that builds mobile and blockchain games.

Jon is an investor and board member for Kovalee, a data-driven app publisher, and an investor at Anything World, a platform that allows creators to build limitless 3D worlds powered by voice and AI.

Jon Hook attended Epsom College from 1996 to 2001. Jon then went on to the University of Bristol, where they completed their Bachelor of Law (LL.B) degree in 2004. Their field of study at the University of Bristol was Law.
