Mike Thompson

Senior Animator at PlayFusion

Mike Thompson started their work experience in 1999 at Reflections Interactive as a Character Artist/Animator. Mike worked on Driver 3 and Driver: Parallel Lines, animating characters and modeling level of detail (LOD) for PS2, Xbox, and PC. In 2006, they joined Deep Red as an Animator. From 2007 to 2010, they worked at DR Studios as an Animator, where they worked on prototype titles and a multi-format title for PC, Xbox, Wii, and DS. Mike then joined Splash Damage in 2010 as a Cinematics Animator on a contract basis, working on the game BRINK. Their responsibilities included animating cameras, vehicles, and props for cut-scenes, as well as implementing animation assets into the game engine. In 2010, they also joined Jagex as a Senior Animator and worked there until 2015. In 2015, they joined Rebellion as a Senior Animator, and in 2017, they moved to PlayFusion in the same role.

Mike Thompson attended Norton, Letchworth from 1992 to 1996. Later, they enrolled in the Centre for the Arts - North Hertfordshire College from 1998 to 1999, where they studied Graphics/Art. However, no degree information is provided for either educational experience.
