At PLAYmatters, we believe that for a child, play is more than just fun—it is their most important occupation.

Located in Atlanta, we are a relationship-based pediatric occupational therapy clinic specializing in sensory integration and play-based intervention. We serve infants through young adulthood, providing a clinical home for families navigating Sensory Processing Disorders, Autism, ADHD, and developmental delays.

Our Philosophy: We understand that behavior is the visible language of the sensory system. If a child cannot control their body, they will often try to control their environment. Our mission is to help children build the sensory foundations they need to engage, socialize, and gain independence. We prioritize the therapist-child relationship and follow the child’s lead to foster genuine developmental growth.

Our Services
- Comprehensive Evaluations: Establishing clinical baselines to identify a child’s unique strengths.
- 1-on-1 Clinical Therapy: Direct, play-based intervention in our sensory-rich clinic.
- Specialized Group Sessions: Targeted groups for handwriting and social-motor dynamics.
- Consultation & Training: Partnering with parents and schools to create sensory-rich environments.

Our Culture: PLAYmatters is built on a culture of creativity, respect, and clinical heart. We differ from high-volume settings by prioritizing quality of connection over productivity quotas. We offer our team a sensory-rich treatment space designed for child-led exploration and a supportive environment grounded in DIR/Floortime and sensory integration principles.

Whether you are a family seeking support or a therapist looking for a practice that values your clinical reasoning and heart, we welcome you to the PLAYmatters community.
