Lead Producer at Playstack

Will Newell has a diverse range of work experience in the gaming industry. Will started their career as a Sales Assistant at GAME in 2011 before moving on to Doublesix Games as a Marketing Assistant. Will was responsible for organizing the company's presence at major games industry trade shows.

In 2012, Will joined Born Ready Games as a Marketing Assistant, where they focused on organizing the presence of the game "Strike Suit Zero" at consumer shows and assisting with copywriting for marketing materials. Will also had roles at NaturalMotion, where they served as an Art Outsource Coordinator and later as a UAM Data Analyst, providing analysis support to the UAM team.

Will then took on the position of UA Manager at Space Ape Games, where they worked from 2014 to 2016. Will'sresponsibilities included managing user acquisition campaigns.

Since 2016, Will has been working at Playstack in various roles. Will started as a Product Marketing Manager, guiding games and teams to be competitive and commercially successful. Will then became the Product Director and currently holds the position of Head of Mobile.

Will Newell attended the Royal Grammar School Newcastle from 1998 to 2005 for their primary and secondary education. After completing their schooling, they enrolled at UCL from 2005 to 2007, where they pursued Mechanical Engineering. Later, from 2008 to 2012, they attended Northumbria University, where they focused on Game Development and obtained a degree in Games Design and Production.
