Irene Markitani has extensive experience in sustainability and auditing, currently serving as Head of Sustainability at Playtech since August 2017, with prior roles including Sustainability Manager, Internal Audit Manager, Senior Internal Auditor, and Internal Auditor. Before joining Playtech, Irene worked at Stelios Chr. Kozakos FCCA from September 2012 to July 2017 as a Senior Auditor, focusing on compliance with ISAs and Cyprus Company Law, among other responsibilities. Earlier experience includes summer internships at Oneplus Services & Consulting and Oneworld Ltd, where Irene handled brokerage documentation and supported corporate operations. Irene holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Southampton, earned between 2009 and 2012, and completed secondary education at The Grammar School in Nicosia.
