Joshua Cobb

Joshua Cobb is the current Director of Sales for West at PlayVS. Prior to this, they were a Regional Sales Manager for Newsela from October 2021 to June 2022. Joshua has also held the position of Senior Enterprise Accounts Representative for Newsela from October 2020 to October 2021. In this role, they were responsible for partnering with all Central and Southeast Texas districts and schools within Regions 3, 4, 5, 6, and 20. From September 2018 to October 2020, they served as Field Sales Executive for Newsela. In this role, they partnered with all Central and South Texas districts and schools within Regions 1, 2, 3, 13, 15, and 20. Prior to that, they were an Educational Sales Consultant for IXL Learning from June 2016 to August 2018. In this role, they worked with all Central and South Texas districts and schools within Regions 1, 2, 3, 13, 15, and 20. Joshua also attained 306% territory growth YOY. Before that, they were an Account General Manager for Pearson from April 2014 to June 2016. Prior to that, they were a Sales Representative for Anderson Merchandisers from December 2011 to May 2013. Lastly, they were a Lifestyles Manager for Hastings Entertainment from December 2009 to July 2010.
