McKenzie Neveras

McKenzie Neveras is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in youth development and program management, currently serving as the National Manager of Quality at Playworks since August 2009. Responsibilities include supervising over 20 Playworks Coaches, facilitating over 600 hours of professional development, and successfully implementing recess initiatives in 35 schools, positively impacting more than 20,000 children daily. McKenzie has a background in program coordination at Aspire Titan Academy and Citizens of the World Charter School, where leadership programs and after-school activities were designed for youth engagement. Prior roles include City Host at the Center for Student Missions and a Unit Coordinator at Kanakuk Kamps. McKenzie holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development & Family Science from Oklahoma State University.
