David Romera

David Romera, PhD, is a seasoned turbomachinery engineer with extensive experience in propulsion systems, currently serving as the Technical Leader and Coordinator for the turbopump of the MIURA 5 orbital launch vehicle at PLD Space since March 2021. Previously, David was a PhD Researcher at ITP Aero, where simulations of unsteady flows and the development of in-house computational fluid dynamics software were key responsibilities. David also contributed as a Systems Engineer at ISDEFE and completed an internship at ITP, focusing on turbine blade cooling passages. David holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering, specializing in Fluid Mechanics and CFD, and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering, both from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
