Robert King

Robert King has over 25 years of experience in the energy sector. Robert began their career with BP in 1991 and held various positions within the company including downstream & refining lead in the USA, head-office central planning in London, and Australian national fuels mining manager. In 2010, they joined IAG as the rebuild program manager of c.5,000 residential and commercial properties damaged by the 2010/2011 earthquake events in the South Island of New Zealand.

In December 2013, King left IAG to join Plecosystems as the head of execution. Plecosystems is a startup that focuses on delivering integrated energy solutions for a sustainable future. Under King's leadership, the company has successfully delivered several large-scale projects including a solar farm in South Australia and a wind farm in Victoria.

Robert King has a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce with a major in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Economics from the University of Canterbury.
