André M.

André M. has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. André is currently serving as a Co-Founder at Pledge, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2020, they worked as the Head of Wealth and Trading at Revolut. Before that, André was the CTO & Co-Founder of Freetrade from 2016 to 2018.

In 2012, André held multiple roles at different companies. André worked as a Principal Consultant and Practice Head at Lab49 from 2014 to 2015, a Senior Software Engineer from 2013 to 2014, and as an Associate from 2012 to 2013. Earlier that year, from February to March, they served as a Software Engineering Consultant at RMA Consulting.

Prior to these roles, André worked as a Software Consultant at Imagination from December 2011 to January 2012. From 2009 to 2011, they were the Founder of Sigma Software Solutions.

André's career began in 2007 when they served as a Volunteer IT Consultant at VSO's SNNPR HIV & AIDS Forum of NGOs until 2009. During the same period, they also worked as a Volunteer ICT Department Advisor at Assella College of Teacher Education.

Before their volunteer work, André briefly worked as a Software Developer at Monochrome Ltd from March to September 2007. In 2004, they held the role of a Technical Director at Vivid Lime.

André M. completed their high school education at Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School from 1984 to 1995. André then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with Electronic Engineering from UCL, which they obtained from 1995 to 1998.

In addition to their formal education, André M. has obtained various certifications throughout their career. André became an Adobe Certified Expert in Flex 4.5 from Adobe in 2011. In 2007, they earned certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance, ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN, OMG Certified UML Professional Fundamental from OMG, and PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner from APMG-International.

Furthermore, André M. holds certifications such as Sun Certified Web Component Developer from Sun Microsystems (2002), Macromedia Certified Advanced ColdFusion MX Developer from Adobe (2001), and Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 Platform from Sun Microsystems (2001).
