Scott Shirley has had a long and successful career in the sports and entertainment industry. Scott began their career in 2007 as the Founder and Board Member of Uplifting Athletes, a national nonprofit organization that aligns college football with rare diseases and raises them as a national priority. In 2013, they became a Board of Directors and Vice Chair of Technology Committee for AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union and a Featured Personality for 93.5 WTPA The Rock of Central PA. In 2014, they started their own company, Pledge It, and served as the Co-Founder and CEO. Scott also joined the Board of Advisors for Rare Disease Report the same year. In 2017, they became a member of the Alumni Council, Vice Chair of Technology Committee for Penn State Alumni Association. In 2018, they joined the Governing Board, Treasurer & Generosity Initiative Director for Daybreak Church. In 2019, they participated in the Stadia Ventures Sports Accelerator and in 2020, they joined the Board Member, Audit Committee for AAA Southern Pennsylvania.
Scott Shirley attended Penn State University from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an M.Eng. in Civil Engineering. In 2007 to 2009, they attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, where they obtained an Executive Scholar in Nonprofit Management.
