Henrik Persson

Henrik Persson has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Henrik is currently working as a Firmware Engineer at Plejd since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Ericsson for several years, holding various roles including System Engineer, Product Guardian, Software Architect, Team Leader, and Mobile Broadband Developer.

At Ericsson, Henrik had significant responsibilities such as directing teams in the creation and integration of new vendor agnostic baseband/radio front-haul interface, developing 5G mmW technology, and leading the commercial deployment of 5G mmW in a Fiber-replacement role. Henrik also worked on the development of algorithms for shaping and pacing high capacity trace streams over Ethernet and a software implementation of an FFT algorithm.

Henrik also gained experience at Saab as a Prototype Developer, where they worked on bringing the SAAB Aeronautics platform for Safety Critical software to the automotive industry. Henrik created a DIPS SDK for the SAAB Gripen E Distributed Integrated Platform System.

Furthermore, Henrik worked at Aros electronics AB as a Prototype Developer, where they contributed to securing additional contracts for the Volvo Hybrid Bus through the development of a software update solution. Henrik also worked at Delphi as a Signal Database Designer for Volvo Car Corporation, solving complex signal puzzles.

Additionally, Henrik worked as a Support System Developer at Ericsson within the Alarm Power and Climate division and as a Function Leader at Ericsson, where they led a team in porting drivers to a quad-core DSP.

Earlier in their career, Henrik served as a Teaching Aide at Chalmers University of Technology.

Henrik Persson began their education at the University of Gothenburg in 2002, where they studied physics until 2004. Henrik then attended Chalmers University of Technology from 2005 to 2008, earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on embedded development. In 2008, Persson pursued further studies at Chalmers University of Technology, specializing in Integrated Electronics Systems Design, until 2009. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in July 2013.
