Ian Dera

Ian Dera is a seasoned product design and development professional with extensive experience in both freelance and corporate roles. Currently serving at Plejd since August 2020, Ian has previously worked as a Product Design & Development Consultant for Egenanställning and as a Senior Technical Design Lead at Semcon for short-term projects. Ian's prior experience includes over a decade as a consultant at Ian Dera Ltd and a significant tenure at Pearson Matthews, where involvement included managing projects and designing innovative products for major clients in the healthcare sector. Ian's career began with freelance positions in various design consultancies and an internship at AND Design, complemented by a BA (Hons) in Furniture and Product Design from Nottingham Trent University.
