Lemi Cittone

Lemi Cittone has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Lemi is currently the VP, Global Head of Operations at Plentific, a position they have held since July 2021.

Prior to their current role, Lemi worked at J.P. Morgan where they served as a Regulatory Project Manager from February 2020 to November 2020. In this role, they were responsible for implementing the bank's PI Inventory Tool to fulfill GDPR and LGPD obligations. Lemi completed business requirements gathering, solution design, and data modeling, as well as coordinated the tool's build and release.

Before their time at J.P. Morgan, Lemi worked at J.P. Morgan Asset Management as a Regulatory Project/Implementation Manager from May 2017 to January 2020. Lemi played a crucial role in implementing an operating model for the Global Data Privacy Office and designing controls and processes for data privacy. Lemi also set up the Global Privacy Forum and conducted various training modules to increase awareness of data privacy regulations.

Prior to their roles at J.P. Morgan, Lemi worked at Ozdemir Consulting as a Senior Consultant, focusing on management restructuring, strategic planning, and business transformation. Lemi also provided mentorship to technology start-ups.

Lemi's earlier experience includes working at Standard Chartered Bank as the Regional Head of FMO Client Coverage, Europe & Americas from February 2009 to August 2013. In this role, they managed financial markets clients' operational relationships and led teams in London and New York. Lemi played a key role in restructuring teams, designing operating models, and implementing controls to minimize operational risks.

Earlier in their career, Lemi worked at Morgan Stanley as an Operational Client Relationship Manager from June 2007 to June 2008. Lemi also worked at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in various roles, including Cash & Derivatives Trade Support Manager, Cash & Stock Settlements Manager, and Settlements Associate.

Lemi Cittone completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics from Istanbul University in the years 1993 to 1997. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance from Koç Üniversitesi, starting in 2013 and ending in 2014.

In addition to their degrees, Lemi Cittone obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2003, they received the Investment Administration Qualification from SII and in 2005, they obtained the Investment Management Certificate from the CFA Institute. In 2006, they acquired the Full Derivatives Certificate (Unit 03) from SII. More recently, in 2019, they gained the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
