Thalia Carstens

Thalia Carstens is an experienced operations manager currently working at Plentify since February 2023, having previously held the positions of operations coordinator and junior lab analyst at Hortec. Thalia also served as a research and sales officer and assistant at BridgIoT and Stellenbosch University, respectively. As a PhD candidate in supramolecular chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Len Barbour, Thalia's research focuses on computational chemistry, crystal engineering, and chemical crystallography, with applications in responsive materials. Thalia has also completed an MSc with a thesis that studied organic radicals and charge transfer cocrystals.
