Azize Homer, PhD, is a seasoned plant breeder with extensive experience in both research and management roles within the agricultural sector. Currently serving as Senior Manager and Breeding Specialist at Plenty, Inc. since October 2017, Azize also holds the position of Independent Expert Evaluator for the European Commission's Horizon 2020 program, providing valuable expertise in project proposal evaluations. Previously, Azize contributed to the development of drought-tolerant dry bean genotypes at the University of Wyoming and conducted critical research on cold tolerance in pea and vetch at the Central Research Institute for Field Crops in Turkey.
