Hannah Becher

Hannah Becher is an accomplished professional in the fields of risk management, compliance, and decision intelligence, currently serving as a Senior Lead at Pleo since October 2021, where noteworthy contributions include leading a cross-cultural team in fraud and AML surveillance, founding the Pleo AI Lab, and developing a comprehensive Risk Engine that significantly reduced due diligence time. Additionally, as the Founder of BrainFruits, Hannah has created a vibrant community for women in tech, facilitating networking events and mentorship programs. Hannah's previous roles include serving as Programming Director for ACFCS, where effective programming strategies were implemented to address financial crime in the Nordics, and working as a Compliance Officer at Danske Bank. Educationally, Hannah holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master's in International Management from CEMS and is currently pursuing Applied Data Science at MIT.
