Michael Hur Bertelsen

Michael Hur Bertelsen is a partner in our Technology & Outsourcing team, and is overall responsible for our consultancy in IT, Telecom, Technology and Outsourcing.

Michael advises both Danish and foreign clients - from start-ups to listed companies.

Michael has assisted in numerous transactions and advised both clients and suppliers. He has thereby gained in-depth knowledge of the objectives and challenges on both sides and, not least, current market norms.

Michael has extensive experience in procurement and supply processes as well as drafting and negotiating outsourcing agreements as well as all types of IT / technology related agreements, including development agreements, implementation agreements, licensing agreements and cloud agreements.

In addition to clients in IT and technology, the financial sector is one of Michael's specialties. He has assisted several banks and financial institutions in purchasing IT / technology and outsourcing, as well as advising on the financial outsourcing rules.

Michael also has extensive experience in M&A, corporate affairs and dispute resolution.

Michael is a dedicated and client-focused consultant, providing solution-oriented consulting - both in legal and commercial terms.

Michael holds an LL.M. from Columbia Law School in New York with the award James Kent Scholar. He has also contributed to several IBA guides on Danish corporate law (for example, on the rights of minority shareholders and on companies' own shares) and has co-authored an article on liability in relation to the processing of personal data.
