Sture Rygaard advises on Danish and EU IP law and leads a considerable number of litigation in patents, trademarks and product imitations (design / copyright / marketing law). Sture also advises on IP strategy and due diligence.
In the Life Science area, Sture advises clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries and has obtained a number of bans on drugs and biotech inventions.
Sture assists clients in enforcing a number of trademark and design rights. Lawsuits and proof-of-court cases are an essential part of this work, and he has experience in obtaining bail-out bans with effect for the entire EU based on EU trademarks.
Sture is a Member of the Board of Directors of EPLAW (2017-), Chairman of the AIPPI Standing Committee on Trade Secrets (2017-) and Vice Chairman of the Association for Industrial Legal Protection (FIR). Sture has contributed to a number of books in the field of IP and Life Science, including the "European Patent Court" which provides a detailed review of the judicial process at the Common Patent Court. Sture regularly gives lectures at seminars and conferences.
