Drew Volpe

Drew Volpe has a long history of involvement in the tech industry. In 2016, they became the Founder and Managing Partner of First Star Ventures, where they invested in entrepreneurs solving real-world problems with deep technology in data, machine learning, and decentralization. Drew also invested and served on the board of Sia (Nebulous Inc.), Jellyfish, Brink, Genialis, ChiselStrike Inc., Scoot Science, and Plex Research. In 2020, they became a Founding Investor of Salient Predictions and in 2019, they became an Investor of Oort.

Drew Volpe attended The Roxbury Latin School from 1990 to 1996. Drew then went on to Harvard University, where they obtained an AB in Computer Science from 1997 to 2001.
