Prior to this, Canyon served as the Deputy Flight Commander for the Weapons and Tactics Flight from April 2016 to March 2017, overseeing the development of tactics, techniques, and procedures while coordinating software and hardware implementations. Canyon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in English Language and Literature from the United States Air Force Academy, completed in 2013.
