David Humphreys

David Humphreys has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles.

Starting in 2000, they worked as a Summer Intern at GEICO, where they managed computer images, tracked inventory, and developed an internal web-based application for tracking image requests.

In 2001, they became an Assistant Engineer at RWD Technologies, where they assisted other developers and handled help desk support. David quickly became the sole developer of various applications within the RWD Info Pak suite.

In 2004, they transitioned to a Staff Software Developer role at RWD Technologies, where they were responsible for planning, design, development, maintenance, and help desk support for multiple applications. David also developed a custom JavaScript client for utilizing AJAX and SOAP compliant web services.

In 2006, they became a Senior Software Engineer/Team Lead at RWD Technologies, leading a team of developers and providing mentoring and career development. David continued to be responsible for planning, design, development, maintenance, and help desk support for their own components.

In 2010, they joined ANCILE Solutions, Inc. as a Software Architect and eventually took on the role of Chief Architect. David collaborated with product management teams to define the architectural and functional evolution of the uPerform product and designed and developed the infrastructure for most components. David also served as the Product Owner and architect for other products.

In 2015, they assumed the role of Deputy CTO at ANCILE Solutions, Inc. and was responsible for technical and operational coordination of the Engineering department. David worked closely with product management teams and helped improve department morale.

In 2017, they became a Senior Director of Engineering and Chief Architect at ANCILE Solutions, Inc., responsible for technical and operational coordination, agile processes, project scope, growth of employees, and product quality. David collaborated with product management teams to drive customer value and transitioned the product into a multi-tenant SaaS offering.

In 2021, they joined West Creek as the Sr. Director of Engineering, leading a team in the B2B domain and coordinating with sales leadership and product management. David determined the scope of the domain and implemented new features and architectural evolution.

Currently, in 2021, they are working as a Software Architect at Plex Systems, Inc.

David Humphreys attended James Madison University from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree in Computer Information Systems. David also obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is not provided.
