John Salvail

John Salvail has extensive work experience in tax roles, starting in 1985. John began their career in a CPA firm and later worked at Bath Iron Works before joining General Dynamics Headquarters in 1987. At General Dynamics, John played a key role in M&A deals and developed tax accounting methods for acquired companies. John also collaborated with CFOs and senior executives to transition tax functions and develop processes for tax filings. In 2000, they joined General Dynamics Information Technology as a Senior Tax Manager, where they led a team and advised on tax issues for a $3.5 billion division.
