Tim Borowsky

Software Engineer at Plex Systems

Tim Borowsky began their work experience in 2007 at Utica Enterprises, where they worked as a Controls Designer and software developer. Tim designed integrated control systems using AutoCAD and EPLAN Electric computer programs. In 2010, they worked as an Associate Engineer at Commerce Controls. From 2011 to 2013, they served as a Diagnostics Engineer at General Dynamics Land Systems, where they developed schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Tim also used engineering source data to present it in a more readable format.

In 2014, they held two separate roles as a Controls Engineer at Gehring L.P. for two months and later at Complete Automation for a year. Tim'sresponsibilities included designing and implementing control systems.

From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Software Developer at Edibar Systems, Inc., where they gained experience in software development.

Tim'smost recent position, starting in 2018, is as a Software Engineer at Plex Systems, Inc. Tim is involved in developing new features, enhancing existing functionality, and resolving defects in the Plex Manufacturing Cloud software. Tim writes stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server, codes in C# within Microsoft's Visual Studio IDE, and also writes JavaScript client-code. Tim performs tests on code and participates in code reviews, communicating with QA and Product Managers about the progress of their work. Tim also participates in all steps of the Software Development Lifecycle.

Tim Borowsky completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Kettering University from 2005 to 2010. In 2013, they pursued an Associate's degree in Computer Science with a specialty in the .NET framework from Macomb Community College.

In addition to their degrees, Tim has obtained the Microsoft Technology Associate: Software Development Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in October 2016. Tim also holds a certification called GCCH-1, but no information regarding the institution or the date of its completion is provided.
