Marshall Asch has a diverse range of work experience. Marshall currently works at Plex, Inc. as a DevOps Engineer. Before that, they worked at Value Connect Inc. as a DevOps Engineer and Junior DevOps Engineer, as well as a Junior Software Developer. Marshall also gained teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Guelph, where they assisted with grading assignments and running office hours for various courses. Marshall also worked as a University of Guelph Mitacs Intern at Left. Prior to that, they held roles as a Teaching Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Guelph. Marshall also worked as an Application Developer at Left and a Full Stack Developer at Activintel. Marshall started their career as an IT Student at Lakeridge Health and as a High Ropes Instructor at Camp New Moon.

Marshall Asch completed their education in the field of Computer Science. Marshall first attended the University of Guelph from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Computing, Honours degree. Marshall then pursued further studies at the same university and obtained a Master of Science - MSc degree in Computer Science, which they completed in the years 2019 to 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Marshall also obtained several certifications in different areas. Marshall became an Open Water Diver through PADI in September 2012. Later, they obtained certifications as an Enriched Air Diver, an Advanced Open Water Diver, and a Dry suit diver, all from PADI in April and July 2022. Additionally, Marshall also became a CASI Level 1 Snowboard Instructor through CASI-ACMS in February 2013.
