Matthieu Serrepuy

Matthieu Serrepuy has a diverse work experience in the field of system administration and DevOps. Matthieu started their career at Oxylane in 2008 as a Linux sysadmin and later became a Cloud Architect. During their time at Oxylane, they were responsible for J2EE Application Hosting and had expertise in operating systems such as RedHat RHEL and AIX, HTTP servers, application servers, and databases.

In 2012, Matthieu joined CloudOps as a Technical Lead - Infrastructure, where they were involved in day-to-day monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Cloud and Web operations environments running on Linux. Matthieu also provided level 3 technical support for hypervisors, storage, and cloud orchestrators. Matthieu also served as an AWS administrator and built scripts to automate tasks and processes. In addition, they had experience with Chef, a configuration management tool.

Matthieu later worked as a freelance Linux sysadmin and gained experience in Plex, Inc as a Sysadmin / Devops. In 2019, they founded MSY Devops Consulting and served as the creator and president of the company.

Matthieu Serrepuy earned a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from IMT Nord Europe between 2003 and 2008. In addition to their degree, they obtained the ITIL Foundation certification in November 2014 and the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in February 2015.
