Simon Buckley has a strong background in software engineering and development. Simon is currently working at Plex, Inc. as a Software Engineer, starting in March 2022. Prior to their current role, they held multiple positions at LEAP Legal Software AU. Simon was the Apps Development Manager from January 2021 to March 2022 and a Front-End Developer from September 2019 to January 2021. Simon also worked at LEAP Dev as an Information Security Analyst from December 2018 to September 2019. Before that, they worked at LEAP Legal Software AU as a Systems Support Engineer from November 2016 to December 2018. Simon's earlier experience includes working at Double Click Networks as a Workshop Manager and Lead Support Technician from January 2015 to November 2016.
Simon Buckley obtained a Diploma of Web Development from TAFE NSW in 2013, specializing in Web Page, Digital/Multimedia, and Information Resources Design. Prior to that, they completed a Certificate IV in the same field at TAFE NSW from 2012 to 2013. In addition, Simon has obtained various certifications including CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, and Sumo Security Power User.
