Sam Brooks

Sam Brooks is an experienced science adviser and technology policy professional, currently serving as the Head of Research at the Accelerated Capability Environment (ACE) and the Innovation Lead at Plexal. With seven years of diverse experience across government, academia, and consultancy, Sam has focused on a variety of emerging technology policy areas, including AI, public health, and counter-terrorism. Sam has held significant roles, such as Senior Science Adviser for the COVID-19 Science Advice Team at the Government Office for Science and has collaborated with various organizations in the pursuit of impactful science and technology initiatives. Sam earned both an MSci and an MA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
