William Gurney

William Gurney is a Technology Lead at Plexal, focusing on innovation projects that leverage emerging technologies for national security and the strategic mission of the UK government. Prior to this role, William co-founded Moja, a bank aimed at providing cross-border financial services in East Africa, and held various positions at EY, including Technology Lead at EY's Innovation Lab and Product & Tech Lead at EY-Seren. William began their career by building and architecting AI, crypto, and software products across startups and large corporations. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from the London School of Economics and a certificate in Data Science from General Assembly.
