Álvaro Carpinteiro

Álvaro Carpinteiro has been employed in various roles since 2014. In that year, they began working as a Power System's Technician for Schmitt + Sohn Aufzüge. In 2020, they worked as a Scientific PhD Researcher and Smart Grids Researcher for Lemur Research Group, and as a Visiting Researcher for EDP España. Currently, they are employed as a Software Product Manager for Plexigrid, where they are responsible for managing distributed devices such as PV systems, electrical vehicles, and heat pumps. Álvaro also has knowledge in back-end Django, deep learning, communications, databases, and programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.

Álvaro Carpinteiro completed a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra in 2020. Álvaro then pursued a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Universidad de Oviedo, which they are expected to complete in 2024. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Neural Networks and Deep Learning and TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning from Coursera in December 2020.
